After a sensational season like the one in 2018, which saw the Twist-Free rods to dominate the surfcasting world, the great Emiliano celebrated the new year and the arrival of the Castforce Surf reels with an advertisement the size of whole beach. His enthusiasm has rocky foundations in the general quality of the Castforce Surf project: ultralight weight reels featuring very large diameter spools with shallow design, all equipped with a Smart Drag clutch that can be opened and closed with just a half turn, developed in three well-differentiated series because no surf enthusiast can feel neglected. The CX model is entirely made from high modulus carbon, a material that offers the same stiffness as aluminum, at 50% of its weight. Its skeletal rotor makes retrieve even easier and smoother under stress, while the provision of an additional aluminum spool appeals the most demanding user. The XLT series is the only one that offers two sizes: 6500 for light surf and Beach Legering, 8000 for the classic long range casting. Its very light and elegant handle is obtained by CNC machine from a solid bar of aluminum; the rotor has been designed on the computer to obtain a perfect balance. The XSD model is characterized by an extremely sporty and aggressive look, which has already been drawn attention during the first demonstrations organized by the Trabucco Team. It is proposed with an additional spool in the box. For all the Castforce of size 8000 we have created a customized PTFE reel that expands the horizons of use of these fantastic reels, actually setting new quality standards.
